Gauteng: BMW Summer Fest. First Post Updated

Hi Fanatics,

SA Beemer in conjunction with Driven SA is hosting a BMW Summer Festival at Trade Route Mall on the Sunday 30th of March 2014, 10am.

They have invited BMWFanatics to join in on the day and I would love it if we could attend in numbers.

Event Details
Date: Sunday 30 March 2014
Time: 10am
Venue: Trade Route Mall, Lenasia

There is a Show and Shine competition hosted by SA Beemer on the day:

R100 entry

Prizes will be given to class winners.

Here are the 6 categories:

1.Best custom modified
2.Best interior
3.Best E30
4.Best factory stock
5.Best M3
6.Best classic(older then 25 years)

The events team is going to arrange a Run to the event, please add your name to the list if you are committed to join?

Sunday's plan is as follows:

To avoid confusion over North and South Bound, i have changed the Convoy meeting spot to the Crazy Detailer Store. Thanks to Pravin, he will be sponsoring a small gift to all meeting at the store and a cup of coffee. Thanks Pravin!!!

9am - Crazy Detailer Store:
Worldwear Shopping Centre
Cnr Beyers Naude Drive & Wilson Street
Fairland, Johannesburg 2030
South Africa

9.30am - 9.45am - Depart Crazy Detailer Store

Expected to arrive by 10:30 at Trade Route Mall

The route:


We will enter Trade Route Mall from the entrance on Nirvana Drive by the Engen garage and follow to the event site. Below is the map of where we will be setting up once we are in the Trade Route Mall.

We should arrive at the event by 10:30am if not earlier. We will park our cars, put up the banners etc and head into Trade Route mall for breakfast (Each to their own). Below is the list of food places, please make bookings to your preference.



Guys that are in Lenz can meet us outside Trade Route and convoy into the event with us.[/align]

SA Beemer will arrange parking for all Fanatics as a group where we will setup our banners and enjoy the event showcasing our fine BMW's.

Hi Guys

Firstly I would like to say thank you to Arbee for starting this tread.A small world as we know each other but I had no clue he was the man behind all these hook-ups.Big up to you Arbee keep up the amazing work.

I was at the cars and coffee the past Saturday and all I can say is WOW some really stunning cars.I took some pictures and will upload soon.

Unfortunately we could not have another SABeemer day at the Glen shopping centre but we were granted the opportunity to work with Auto Glen motors and Driven SA to bring you guys this BMW Summer fest :rollsmile:


Really looking forward to seeing all the members on the day.

Is this still there? or is there another entrance? because my E36 wont clear it.

:thumbs: I have seen cars slammed on the floor clear those speed bumps ,doubt you would have an issue..
