For the Skyline fans... R34 NEO RB25 Build

An exciting NEW project for the AutoMC team for what I believe to be a very excited customer :rollsmile:

For the Skyline fans, it's an R34 NEO RB25 mid-power build and it's going to push the limits of the team to new heights, featuring tons of trick bolt-ons!

So far the stripping has begun: box and motor out; the clutch and flywheel are toast; the intake and turbo have been removed; the crank has to come out for engineering of the oil pump collar; ancillaries stripped and the motor is now being prepped for what we believe are any petrolhead's life's greatest pleasures... Shiny new parts!

I dont think its a GTR, because there is no front diff.

So it is probably this model:
GT-T – 2.5 L RB25DET NEO turbo I6, 280 hp (206 kW, 343 N m)

ahh missed that.

I know there is a guy that has helped a few Cape Tonians bring in GTR's.
Mostly R32's and R33's. He brought in a R34 last year. Sadly the NOC forum is dead, so cant keep track of those.
Would love to own a V-spec R34 .

are you going with bolts or bolt on rb30 ....

Update: the motor ran bearings and had detonation on cylinder three, so we are now doing an engine rebuild on this one. More to follow.

Cleaned and honed block

Refurbed cams

Pistons with new forged rods

Cleaned and polished head

New spacers (to replace old horrid steel items causing huge balancing issues)

This R34 build has been completed and returned to a very happy customer! :rollsmile:

Complete motor rebuild with a new turbo, intercooler, intake, exhaust manifold, wastegate, upgraded oil pump and balanced bottom end and Haltech ECU :rollsmile:

Plenty custom work went into this build and massive time dedication from the AutoMC "Fabrication", "Engine Building" and "Tuning" teams! We are proud of the way this build has turned out and at the level of attention and effort that was put into this build.
