Have you considered Pirelli? I've heard good things about their P Zero range for performance cars. Might be another option to look into.
I want to know where you heard they were good for performance cars
The only Pirellis that are worth a look are Corsas and Trofeos and they also wear a lot more relative to performance on offer... so even then you are better off with a Pilot Sport Cup 2/2R or an Eagle F1 Supersport Rs or Potenza RE71RS.
The last time I had P Zeros, I changed them at around 5000km (as in less than 5000km on the actual car) because they were absolute DOGSHIT. In fact that is an insult to dogshit because that will still stick to your shoes. There is an extremely narrow window of time and mileage where they are even functional as basic tyres... as in just feeling safe to get you from A to B - not on a track or racing etc. *Also Most tests are also only done in that very narrow window where they are basically brand new.
Pilot sports, Potenza Sports and, size-dependent, the Eagle F1 Supercar/Supersport (though the sizes are never available when I need them) are all worth a look. Bridgestone has upped its game in terms of availability locally. I have heard nothing but praise for the Potenza sports, especially for the money.
