Thanks! I don’t see myself selling this car anytime soon. They really are great all rounders.

I could get used to an M3 like yours as well:hammerhead:

These oil burners are enjoyable in stock form, but really come alive with a map.

They often surprise petrolheads:thumbs:

I have heard of and read too many mixed reviews. Jerky shifts etc. seem to be common.

So, a small update is in order..

This weekend KAR hosted a dyno day. Since this is where I normally dyno before and after mods I figured it would be interesting to see what gains (if any) the N54 cooler brought along.

Power went up about 5kw. Torque was down about 5nm from my previous run, but many factors could influence it and with the difference being so small I’m not too concerned about it.

Bare in mind no remaps have been done on the car since getting it mapped originally, so all the gains are hardware related. With that said this is most probably where I draw the line in terms of performance mods on my car. I feel it’s reliable enough (just did a 3000km round trip without any hiccups), easy to drive as a normal car (although it’s not my daily), light on fuel as ever and really does perform well enough for me.

Anyway, below is the graph:

those bugs on the front bumper came off easily?

Thanks Sash.

I washed the car the next day, so it came off fairly easy.

:praise: 750nm must be lots of fun!!!!

Look, there’s nothing wrong with the torque of a stock 330d, but gaining almost 200nm over stock just takes it to another level.

Open road overtaking is where you really appreciate it. In town the DTC light also often reminds you of the torque..
