Finally have some time to put some pics up. Took ownership on the 1st December 2017 and have been getting it to the look I wanted and neatening up a few things.
This will be e46 M3 #2 and at my age I have been fortunate enough to own 2, they truely are special cars, I missed my previous one that I sold terribly! This time I was on the look out for 1 that has had all the maintenance that these cars require. I bumped into Andy at BMW concours at Kyalami and he told me he was selling his grey M3. I must thank Andy again for taking extra good care of this M3 especially motor wise. The car has had the bearings replaced, vanos rebuilt and inspection 2 service done. It drove so well and idled extremely quiet with Andy having done the valve clearances himself. When I came to see it, the car was clean and very tidy. The car still felt tight when I drove it, not sloppy and clunky like most e46 M3s feel.
I removed the sound and aftermarket wheels and repainted the front end as it was stone chipped. I have also replaced the headlight covers and fitted new fog lights and new kidney grilles just to freshen up the front end. The car is on a very good quality set of replica CSL wheels.
The motor is very healthy and made 193kw and 299Nm on KARs rollers.
The car is a late 2002 model Stahl Grau metallic over black leather interior.
My good mate took some pics and as can be seen he is quite handy with a camera.
