E46 M3 Fuel Pump

Hi Guys,

So my fuel pump died on me (partially my fault, drove a bit on reserve), so I've been reading and Youtubing for alternative from
OEM part.

Obviously i tried mechanic, but am broke after major preventative work done. So am forced to apply my mind a bit and DIY it.

I did trouble shooting to see if it is the pump or electricals, confirm it is the pump.

So I've looked at Walbro 255 LPH https://www.fuelperformance.co.za/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=2949
High Flow 255LPH (https://www.fuelperformance.co.za/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=2755&search=e46+m3)

yes, I'll get the sleeve kit with it, already bought the ring seal for the assembly hub (only cheap part at BMW dealership)
as the fully assembly was quote R6700 at dealership.

Question is has anyone done this "mod" / improvement?
looking for comparisons and to make an informed decision.
Engine and all still stock.

So I took some time to think an research on fuel pump replacement on the M3,

Agent price was +/-R6500 for the fuel pump assembly
plus labour was going to be total R11000.

so after checking the university of youtube and reading build journals.
Figured this is a DIY.

picks are the process of setting up, workstation, comparison between the old and new pump.

Once i finished, the car fired up one time, working great ever since.
