E39 M5 Starter Motor

Hi Guys,

Any recommendations on where to look for a new Starter Motor for my E39 M5? In Cape Town preferably, Dealerships want around R12k....

or any place that rebuilds them?

I have never had a good experience with remanufactured motors...

No, with refurbished motors.

No comment on motors from Goldwagen - as a rule, I stick with OEM or OE

Goldwagen seems to sell Bosch motors. So would one consider it OEM or OE?

Bosch is OE, BMW is OEM, but Bosch makes the starter for BMW, so its the same thing. GW does not stock Bosch starters for E39 M5, but I would be happy to be proved wrong
