Congrats Karsh, it looks like a great base to start from. At the mileage/age a suspension refresh was always going to be on the cards.

shock mounts are gone as there is clunking noises when i turn the wheel at a stand still

That might possibly be due to the coilovers.
Some of the brands just do that

Agree, its a combination of crap coilovers and bad shock mounts.

Any pics on the sound install? I'm still trying to find a setup that sounds good for my e36, in my case it's not easy getting sound through the back even when I had x2 12's blasting in the boot

Hi Bud,

I dint take any pics. These speakers fitted in the OEM housing.
For the tweeters, i modified the oem housing. Broke the OEM one off and i used glue to tack the new tweeter in that location.

I have 2 10" subs in a normal box. I hit out the ski hatchs but its still trapped. Its okay for now, sounds decent but will have to make a custom box with the air rams coming out the top. I think thats the only way.

Nice, clean-looking E36:=): Can't wait to see other mods you'll undertake. What coilovers are you using?

Thanks bud, they are JOM blue line

Was a busy weekend. Actually took most of the weekend.

Youtube and running around to get tools i dint have.

Drivers window stopped working on Friday.
Luckily Beemows had those plastic window clips which i replaced. All good now.

While at Beemos i got a new windscreen washer pump.

Previous owner disconnected the alarm as he said it would come on for no reason. Found that the sensor in the bonnet was broken. So replaced that as well.

Replaced the serpentine belt and AC belt. Belts where really bad, after replacing car idles smoother. No funny noises. Even the power steering feels lighter.

Car was off white and had stains on the paint.
Did the following:
Machine polish with Meguires Cleaner Wax.
Machine Polish with Meguires Ultimate compound.
Sealed with NXT 2.0

Results where amazing. Pics dont really do justice as to how white and smooth the paint is now.
No need for a respray as the fine scratches came off while polishing.

Some pics:
Belts :dunnoanymore:

A Pressure Loaded box works the best in a Sedan. I did that in my Corolla as well as E36 M3. Sounded amazing.
