Take your time! Prepare a neat area with lots of boxes to store parts that you remove, label as much as you can!

And, when you do the paintwork, make sure every panel is done well! Get everything right the first time and you will have a car to enjoy for many years.

I took on a project for the first time last year - what a great time! The learning involved is amazing!

What a great project!

Hi Guys,

OK so I have taken the matte wrap off and the paint is just as bad as I was expecting... I am planning to start stripping the car next month and then send it in for respraying... I have not been getting much done between work and exams so I will have more time on my hands for a while till I write at the end of the year again.

I need to source an original bumper and spoiler for the front due to the fiberglass one ruining the quality of the car(imo)... I will update some pics as soon as I get the car cleaned(this weekend hopefully)

A good buy - but its going to cost alot to restore. Are new parts still available from the dealer for interior trim etc etc?

Best part on a project like this is actually sourcing spares - good secondhand stuff even.

An awesome hobby. Good luck & enjoy!!!

Yeah going to be a long road ahead... the most important part I need is an original bumper and spoiler for the front.

once I have that then the rest is not that much of a problem :fencelook: touch wood
