Sorry to hear Dewald. Im sure the bike will come back better than ever. Get well soon. Did any other motorist get the plate?
This is the reason why I won't own a bike myself, its just too dangerous to ride in Gauteng. Far too many bought licences/unlicenced drivers and vehicles, let alone insured ones. Its no wonder they flee the scene of an accident they just caused.

The e46 has sprung a power steering oil leak :hammerhead:
Still driveable but needs topping up now and then.
Any idea on common leaks for the this?
I will strip and clean the engine bay this weekend so see if can find the source.
The KTM should be back next week, just in time for the BMW to be fixed, again :roflol:

check under the bottle the OEM clamps are rubbish

Quick update;
The KTM had another fit. Report from KTM was that the big end bolts failed and you guys know when parts in that assembly break, it usually results in broken engine covers etc. Fortunately it is still under warranty (ends March 2018
) and the claim was submitted today, should be another 4 weeks before I have it back.

The Duke's claim has been approved, the engine will be repaired and not replaced :dunnoanymore: 3/4 weeks I will have it back.
In the mean while my father-in-law offer me his Yamaha Super Tenere as a "loan" bike. Very different feel to the small 390 but I like it, and no more sitting in traffic :smilebounce:
