Car got some fresh oil and a new filter, as well a new air filter. That is 25 000 km in 10 months :indifferent-:


Taking it to Nelspruit this weekend, will be the furthest trip I will do with the car since I got it 3 years ago.

Went on the Nelspruit trip as planned, did a total of 970km @ 8.3l/100km :rollsmile:

Some pics I took in the plantation near Kaapsehoop, the road there is epic had a lot of funny.

Side note also ran my first 21.1km race (with a slightly damaged knee which is not so slightly damaged anymore :hammerhead

Firi, you should have seen. We where driving around there and I said to the GF: "We should stop back at the start of the plantation it would make such great photos where the trees are closer to the road, the BMW would look so nice there". Here face just dropped she thought I meant we should go take pics of us in the forest :roflol::roflol:

Went to Clarens this weekend. Rain Friday night was hectic doing 40km/h max wipers and all you could see was water. Very glad I had sorted the car before all the past trips, did just over 2200km in over the past 6 weeks(3 trips). Did not have a single issue with the car. The tires did their job thanks Ralf, quiet on the open road and did well in the hectic rain on Friday. :ty:

Average consumption was 8.7l/100km.

I drove the golden gate route twice, Saturday morning(I was alone the new suspension is nice) and Sunday, did the tourist things. :rollsmile:


To end of the weekend I got fine in Kestell :hammerhead: 73 in a 60, I was slowing down dammit. Took 25 mins to pay at the super efficient police station there (I was the only "customer") .
