Updates (mixed emotions)
Bad news first - the KTM is dead and up for sale as a non-runner. Valve stem failed and I am not going to fork out 21k to get it fixed. It went in to get the timing chain tensoiner & timing chain replaced. Got it back at the beginning of the month, and on my way home (5 days after collecting it) it broke down again. I have had my fight/dicussion with KTM. Either I have a dub or the worst luck but I am not going to spend 27k on the KTM this month. Just to have it break down again.
Here is a breakdown of its breakdown history;

Insurance claim
July 2017 - Knocked over while lane splitting - all damaged parts replaced and repaired by KTM Raceworx.
If it does not sell, I will part it out.
I have checked with my insurance they can't help, and I am not a fraudster. So I will have to take the knock, unfortunately.

The damage
Onto good news;
The e82 now has some carbon bits glued to it. I might have been to sparing with the glue but I was afraid it might become brittle before I was able to clean it up. It won't fall off but it needs to be filled to look consistent.
The MX5 received more donor parts from another MX5 NA that met it's death via stripping for parts.
New cluster shroud with stainless steel rings around speedo and rev counter. And sun visors that can fold in half - this way I can get the top down with having to move the visors out of way to open the latches.

Also mileage milestone for the MX5
Bought these second hand carbon mirrors for the MX5, need make up mounting brackets before I can fit them.
Not much has been happening with the e46, just glad to have it back to "normal".
