I pulled into pg glass today and immediately recognized and old love. I sold it about 5 years ago. Good to see the old girl is still going. Now 350000km. I think I sold her at 180000km.

97 Motorsport II. It had the updated climate control. I think it had been curbed before i got it, hence the 330i mags and some shock tower issues. It originally was that bottle green colour and got resprayed.


I had it through my... should we say formative years... so I am surprised it survived. Trashed 2 e30s in Welkom before I got the e36. Some good memories in that car.

Hasn't aged too well... a lot more new bumps and scratches. I was about to respray before i let her go... that was over 150,000km ago. So you can image what it is like now. Current owner is running a welding business out of it... But it was nice seeing her again. Black Betty.

It's one of the those things about bumping into an ex car - usually not as nice as she was when you last saw her... :nonono:
