Do you have a warranty on this car. If not get one.

SMG's can be tricky. If well looked after they are a hoot, but be aware that this was still early stages in this type of gearbox.

Ive got the 325i SMG. Exact same gearbox as yours. Is currently at 136k km. Ive just had one of the pumps inside the box replaced. R12k excluding fitment.

its off motorplan.. cant be renewed... just before motorplan expired everythng was replaced.. so far no problems hope it stays that way on 108 000kms atm
