Thanks dude... she's still a long way from where she needs to be though, and it's a process, as and when finances allow.
The car's seen a bit of a rough life at the hands of a lacksy-daisy previous owner. And while the service records were up to date, I had little faith in everything having been done correctly, so figured I'd ensure everything was up to spec.
Hence, I've mainly been focused on mechanical stuff - getting the Vanos sorted, valve adjustment service, intake, decat, etc.. Cosmetics are relatively easy to sort out down the line, but a stuffed motor necessitating a rebuild is a whole different ballgame...
Next up is a bit of rear suspension work, diff oil change, brakes, and then cosmetics - full leather restoration inside, and body touch-ups all round + spraying & fitting the CSL front bumper + CSL boot lid.
Somewhere down the line I'd like to do bearings as well, just as a preventative measure - but in the meantime, I'll do oil changes every 5k km.
