The E38 is fully "gangstered out" already :blowheart:

The E65 remains as is, for she belongs to a humble lady who isn't scared to get behind the wheel of a flagship

And the F01 is the latest to be added to the collection, with a line-up of mods already on the cards. New rims arrive this week, then she's going to be de-chromed, tinted, 'zorsted, and a new body kit is being contemplated.

Can somebody say group-Schmiedmann buy??? :cartel:

E38

:blowheart:

do you still have your E38, any plans to mod it, or any plans to sell it ?

Yes I have still got the "ship"
No Modifications done as yet, I almost prefer my cars to be standard as the day they left the factory (personal choice), although I do drool over tastefully modified cars, I cannot justify the costs.
Yes it is for sale, at the right price, make an offer ?

On the E38 on the originators post, I would like to know how was the 2x2 exhaust modification done, I have heard that just cutting into the rear skirt, actually causes strength issues, unnecessary vibration and cracking, so would love to know how this one was done, was there a strengthening section done around the cut-out
this is one of the reasons I haven't done this basic mod yet

OK, this image answers my question, looks like cut out for the twin pipe is done correctly, with a strengthening portion, unlike a straightforward cut out, so no strength issues or vibration issues

nice

The bumper was cut and a structural lip formed out of fibre resin to stop this problem. Then bumper filled, primed and painted. Held up for 4 years so far :)
