technical 2010 BMW 320i (facelift with the rear LED lights, raised bonnet etc)

Hi guys.

So I bought my first BMW! It is a 2010 320i. It has 132000 on the clock and seems to be going well.

There is sometimes some white smoke that exists the exhaust every now and then when I take off in first gear. What could this possibly be? I have checked the oil continuously and there is no sign of any coolant around there.

More than likely valve stem seals, it will unfortunately get worse as time progresses. N46 engines typically do suffer from a few documented issues.

A valve stem seal repair generally costs around 12-15k at RMI shops. You will also need to replace your valve cover gasket, and address any oil leaks you may have in the area.
