Small update on LuCi..
New exhaust fitted, sounds OEM+ now. Yes, I know, I will take a video soon.
Front and rear bumpers resprayed, new fogs and side indicators (thanks @FISAACS) also fitted.
Next up is the hood-lining and some other bits and bobs..

She's such a peach to drive, gets compliments wherever I go. So glad I pulled the trigger.

A few days after I got her back from the panel shop, I was cruising along the M4 south on a wet and rainy morning en-route to get the hood-lining done when a monkey decided to bolt across in front me. Being the M4 south, there is no room for avoidance. I hope someone got a lovely meal out of it 🐒

Freshly painted bumper and brand new fog light has left the chat.
Back to the panel shop she goes..

The previous owner who owns an RMI approved workshop had serviced the car 2/3 months (1,000km) prior to selling it but the oil was quite sludgy, not good for frying samoosas.

Car was booked-in and the following was done..
  • Oil change with some tasty Liqui Moly oil.
  • Tappet cover gasket
  • Sump gasket
  • Lower and outer radiator hoses
  • Control arms
  • Engine mountings
  • Vibration dampener
The rear window rubbers/gaskets needed replacing, they are sold together with the high gloss shadowline trim. They are a mind boggling R2k each for that short piece.
