BMW service deals

I received this earlier.

MY BMW OIL PLANMY BMW SERVICE PLAN
Now from R4 048 Once offNow from R12 880 Once off
3 years/3 services3 years/3 services
CBS indicated or electiveCBS indicated
Engine oil service onlyVehicle check
Engine oil service + Spark plugs + Air filter, Pollen filter, Fuel filter, Brake fluid flush

My question on the Service plan is, it says 3 years but CBS indicated. I service my car every 10 000km or every 12 months whichever comes first but I only do about 10-12000 km per year.
So I definitely wont have a CBS indicated service each year. Does that mean the 3 years might carry over a longer period or can I request a service each year regardless of the CBS indication?

Would be interesting to know. The last time I asked a BMW dealer (a few months ago) about these additional plans, they told me it is always dependent on the cars CBS indicator and you cannot request it sooner. But I see that it says "CBS indicated or elective" on the options, so also curious to know what happens if you do request an early oil change (if not due for time/mileage on the CBS indicator).

I enquired about this when it was first launched, on the "MY BMW SERVICE PLAN" - it is only CBS indicated over a period of 3 years/100k kms, however only covers the next 3 services.
ie. if you had to do 30k kms pa, over the 3 years CBS will definitely indicate more than 3 oil changes...the plan will only cover the 1st 3 in that period.

On the OIL PLAN, you can choose when you want the service done, I did one in Feb 2024, the plan came to an end last week, so booked the car in for the 3rd service even though only 2k kms were done in that period.

You can even choose to do the 3 services in a week if you ever wanted to :ROFLMAO:

*Note: the price has increased to just over R5k on the oil plan, it has increased from 2 to 3 years.
the price posted above is with a 20% discount only valid for the first 350 oil plans, and 450 service plans.

Mercedes wants R48,850 for a 2 year service plan on my in-laws W205 C43 AMG...

Let us be very generous, a set of front brake pads is R5k, an oil service cant be more than 5k...wipers R500...

So that is about R15k, lets say R20k at most. How are they justifying close to 50k for this plan???

To add insult to injury, the in-law averages around 2000km a year. 2017 model currently with around 16,000km on the clock

Oh, and while I am having a rant; Merc wanted around R6000 per tyre excluding fitting and they couldnt give any idea when they would have stock...meanwhile, the same tyre (with the MO stamp) is R3000 at Tyre mart.

Just another reason why I drive (out of plan) BMWs

PSA - if anyone wants to get an oil plan now might be the time because I think they might be increasing pricing. I got it @ 4200k for 3 years from a dealer but received a higher quote from the website. The website was also quoting me for 2 years instead of 3. Dealer quote also shows 2 years but they said that they will add an extra year.
