The title of the video is misleading as Volvo have indicated that it was not their safety feature that stopped the truck so fast, but driver reaction, kudos to him.

It also appears that he might have expected something like this as his reaction was almost instant the moment he passed the bus, a second delay here and this kid might not be here today.
