Sounds good Keithan.
Will the unit be available for other brands as well? Like Ford and Toyota?

Yip, and a few other vehicles as well.

The Big benefit here is that the unit can be re-used on another vehicle (Provided the customer has the required harness and the unit re-programmed for the relevant application)

Lekker Bud.

Option 1 - Does this mean you might have two files on it for two cars? When you want your Toyota modded, you plug it into the Toyota, If you want your Ranger Modded, you plug it into your Ranger?
Option 2 - Or do you erase everything from the previous car and then write everything over for the new car?

How many lives will the unit have? Say it works like Option 2(which makes more sense when you think about business), you had it on the Toyota, then on your Ranger and now you decided to buy a slow Amarok for some stupid reason :roflol: will you still be able to use the same Unit with the required wire harness or will you need a new Unit now?

:eek:mgwaiting: Hi Kiethan, ok not to derail this add - GLWS

but I have to ask what happens if Motorplan gets devoid because they pick up that alternative software has been used, will you guys carry the Mortorplan cost after that ?

Secondly how certain are you about 20% gains, is that on all models or only select few?

The unit is a plug and play unit, custom programming is done on the unit itself.

Unfortunately we will not cover motorplan - Warranty can be voided by missed services and hardware modifications. Gains differ from vehicle to vehicle.

Testing on the S1000RR - we have seen between 10 and 15whp gains. The Tour K1600 we have gained 18whp. This is with the preset map for the specific bike. Custom tuning is in progress and i am sure it will be more. - No warranty issues on these bikes thus far.

As you should know - no 2 vehicles perform the same - hence gains will differ. However with the custom mapping it is possible to gain more than predicted. We will be doing some testing in the weeks to come - F30 320d, 330d, 328i, 320i. I will post results as vehicles are DYNO'd (Before & After)

I dont think that the question has been answered properly.

I believe that the actual question is, what happens if BMW picks up that software was placed on the car, and removed before servicing. would your claim of "Dont Lose your Warranty by using our method", be backed up and supporting the Customer if BMW does find traces of your Software/Plug n Play being loaded?

Ignore the missed Services and Hardware mods aspect, this is asked purely on your Plug n Play software.
First they will have to prove that you used a P&P unit. As far as I understand you can't see any traces of the unit as long as it's not wired into the ECU.

Option 2 - the Unit will need to be programmed for the new vehicle.
Vehicle 1: Toyota - Program with Harness for specified vehicle
Vehicle 2: Ranger - Re-program with Ranger Harness
Vehicle 3: Amarok - Re-program with new Harness

And it goes on and on
