Make sure the ECU box's water drain system is open and working... Had ECU water damage on my 320d and resulted in a crap load of money to have it fixed,
Its a horrible design recommend you strip and remove the ECU to make sure the drain is open, not just in the ECU box but also the drain in the steel part of the chassis where the ECU box fits in

any1 ever experienced the ABS indicator problem on E36?

Potential incorrect procedure when jump starting or been jumped. Had this on my e36 m3

I would recommend take the vehicle to agents for a airbag check.
Allt of these old E46 haven't seen the Agents from the time the motor plans ended.
My 2004, E46, 325ci, has a old recall campaign , on the two of the airbags I think it was.
