While all the dust settled in Cullinan after us Fanatics woke up the sleepy town, I got back home to get my hands on Gavin's Z4M.
As some of you may know, his car is practically sold :bluecry: so to give this gorgeous car a fitting goodbye gift, he brought it through for a gloss enhancement.
After seeing this:
All he could say was this:
Haha, seller's remorse perhaps?
Apart from being the fastest stock S54 I know of, this car is an exceptionally clean example, and looks great - so this exercise was merely to enhance the already good looks of the car.
The car was washed with APC, dried up and done firstly with Auto Finesse Tripple, applied by machine. Then a hand application of the new Auto Finesse Ultra Glaze, then rounded off with the Auto Finesse Illusion show car wax.
Ultra Glaze:
This is the stuff dreams are made of :inlove: the product is orange in colour, has a fantastic smell and applies so good. A little goes a very long way on application. Apply to a panel, let it sit for a little, then buff of effortlessly. The gloss from the glaze was striking and incredible, rivalling even some waxes!!!
Illusion Wax:
Marketed by AF as an out and out show car wax that still boasts up to three months lasting power, this product promises quite a bit. Can it deliver? Well of course! I'm in no position to comment on claimed longevity yet, but having applied it to my own car this weekend, I'll be able to comment on it in months to come. The shine this product gives off is ridiculous! It really is unbelievable! Having used it on two white cars, and achieving these results, I'm thoroughly impressed! The product itself smells like berries, spreads like warm butter, buffs off so easily, it is truly remarkable. Also, the amount of product used to coat one car is so, so small that this tub can go on forever! Really like this stuff and glad I invested in it as one of my Avantgarde waxes.
