Yup, like Mikhail said its basically a Touareg/Q7 with a Porsche badge.

As to costs on parts for example, engine mounts from Porsche are R10k. Touareg mounts from Goldwagen are R4500, so maintenance can definitely be affordable.

My mate at Porsche Center has clients that bring their V6 957's in for services with over 300k km and still going strong, which gives me some reassurance.

Its a 2008 V6 (3.6 VR6).

These engines are reliable. I would suggest doing the timing chain and guides if you’re high mileage, everything else is built to last.
