Well after alot of discussing with Lambchop (a mate of mine from other forums), we decided it was time that we got the true colour out of the 335i :D

Firstly let me start by saying that Lambchop is an absolute legend
He worked his butt off while i done all the small things like my wheels and exhaust tips LOL
He was sweating like a paedophile on a school bus, man its hard work let me tell you

Lambchop you ROCK :D :D :D :D

Oh and remember that we only done the full exterior, hence no interior pics as i will sort all of that out

Anyways here are a few pics of the before

And now the first wash and the clay bar went into action

And now for a few shots of the nasty's  :( :D , the best pics i could get :)

And some more :)

And now she is all taped up

Lambchop working his @$$ off

A few cleanish wheel pics :D

And now the pics of the finished product :D

These first 2 are actually my bonnet :D

And more

So there you have it, a day well spent with LC and giving the 335i the treatment she deserves :D :D :D

Once again, Lambchop you legend :D :D

Here is a quote from Lambchop regarding the products used

Here is the list of "Muti" used

BTW this paint is about as hard as Audi paint ...

first off the car was Foamed with a High dosage of Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and gloss (CWG) Get rid of any wax that was on the Body work

Car was also washed with CWG

Wheels were cleaned with Prepsol and CWG and various brushes

Now for the hard part- The Polishing pad combination
I tried LC orange pad and the Yellow LC pad
I eventually settled on the Wool pad with Menzerna SIP

So after 5hrs of that .. Car was rinsed and We applied some new wax i bought last month

RaceGlaze 55 - This stuff is the bomb

These pics seriously dont do the car justice ... The car looks like liquid glass

THE END :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Wow didnt think the paint would be hard enough to use wool. But the car turned out great noone the less. :)

Yup, like LC said, the paint is extremely hard indeed, he tried quite a few combo's before he found the right one

But small world hey?

Thanks for the rest of the compliments everyone
The thing i like most is when it rains and the car is wet, then i come home and park her in the garage, when i wake up the next morning and go into the garage my car looks like its just been polished , no watermarks or anything :)
