Coolio. Dunno whats happening in that last pic, polish or burn on the fender, dunno why it isnt taped up. You just have to be so careful using a rotary against body lines. Dunno what polish, pads, RPM, pressue you are using, but you dont realise how quickly you can go through paint until have actually done it. Get some scrap panels or a kak car to try.
Please do consider buying a thickness gauge. Otherwise its an accident waiting to happen, and all the funds earned though polishing will just be blown on respraying.

Just my 2c, stuff that I learnt first hand the hard way while learning the motions of polishing. No reason why someone else should have to repeat my mistakes.

Dont forget plastic, Bumpers spoilers etc all very delicate areas. That last pic is very suspect. When a panel has been polished the light will not refract. so when you take a picture of the sun it will only show the sun, nothing else .. your picture shows a few other imperfections left in the clear coat.

Hey bro, it isn't a burn, just the way the light reflects off the surface :bravo:

Thanks for the tips too, we have actively research this before undertaking the use of a rotary :ty:

Look guys, we are confident in the approach we take combined with the experience and training we have received thus far.

We will not undertake anything on another persons pride and joy without being sure of our capabilities.

Lambtjop.

You trying with your show me yours I`ll show you mine, we are not going to play that game. Yes comparative pics, do apples with apples, that shot was after a first stage polish, not a finished off panel.

Any further comments and negative remarks, I will have the posts removed.

If you have nothing good to say, rather keep it to yourself. Trying to make us look like complete clowns will not fly. We may be new kids on the block, but for heavens sake don`t try and make us look like idiots. I can guarantee you were not.

Apologies if you find this reply offensive, but this forum bullshit must stop.

No need to turn this into a dick swinging contest. Both guys live up to their markets expectations. Long as the customer thinks they are getting good value.
I know I couldnt turn this into a business, the time to takes me to get a finish I am happy with X my hourly rate + product cost = not what 99% of people would be happy to pay.

So congrats on both for making businesses out of it.

Glad this was swiftly resolved

For those looking for a war, or getting their popcorn ready - visit the TLGP section rather :ty:

And Tiaan and myself have put a lot of effort into this venture, the training we have both underwent, as well as learning the know how... Naturally, as with all things in life, nobody enjoys being called out, and myself and Tiaan are the same in that regard.

We appreciate the positive comments and words of advice. We are not here to compete or brag either. This is what we do, and we enjoy doing it too, and it translates into our work as well as the satisfaction of our clientele.

Thanks for your support guys, and keep your eyes peeled, we have a massive reveal coming

On a lighter note, witnessed my friend washing a metallic black car with a high density piece of foam and sunlight, then drying it with one of those yellow kitchen cloths :fencelook::biglol::roflol:

Torture I tell you :bangdesk:

A lot of people make those mistakes, hell my first car was a beetle, i polished that thing like mad every weekend, then washed it with any old rag, a bucket and sunlight liquid. Then dried it with an old towel....

That was when I was 16.

Now, my car care products is a wider variety than my fiance`s make up, and costs more too :fencelook:

It`s all about being educated....educated in the proper way of looking after your car`s paintwork

Good one :)

Offcourse it needs detailing, just a different approach to that soft top with the soft top care.

Very nice work guys.

I can confirm to the quality of Tiaan and Fozel's work as they did my Red Baron the day before the Guinness attempt at Kyalami and both my wife and me were speechless with the results. Unfortunately no pics were taken due to time constraints but I will be taking my car back to them.

Yes, they are fairly new in this business and still has a lot to learn and hone their techniques but they certainly do have skill, and most of all what I don't have, patience and passion

I trust you guys will go from strength to strength
