Valencia - one of the most beautiful places on Earth. With it's plush coastline and sunny, warm climate, combined with the engineering masterclasses of buildings in Spain, the BMW 1M would certainly not feel out of it's element here.
When we were told that there was a Valencia Orange 1M in need of some treatment, we opted for a full paint correction, after a vehicle inspection.
Firstly, and as always, the vehicle was washed, using:
-Auto Finesse Avalanche Snowfoam
-Auto Finesse Lather Luxury Shampoo
-Auto Finesse Wheel Shampoo
-Clay to decontaminate the surface
-Our selection of wheel and fender brushes to get into those hard-to-reach places.
Having not worked on an orange car prior to this Valencia Orange 1M, we could not wait to see the end result. So much so, that after our test spots, we even failed to document the initial condition of the paint...:thumbdo::sorry:
In words, the paint was rather subdued, and with the metallic flake lacking the definition it was desperately trying to achieve.
This time, we decided upon the use of Scholl S17, coupled with Scholl White Sandwich Spider pads. The Three Amigos, as ever, we present:rollsmile:
We did manage one 50/50 shot...
The 1M was then finished off with Auto Finesse Tough Prep, Auto Finesse Power Seal, and lastly Auto Finesse Illusion wax, which sealed in the work and gave it that show car shine.:blowheart:
We were blown away by the end product...
A huge thank you to:
-Azhar, Wesley, Dave, Rowen and Fuzz from CCT
-The owner of this beaut for the opportunity
-You, for your time taken in reading this, and for your support!
