Van dat ek nou die intake af gehaal het en terug gesit het wonder ek of ek ni dalk iets mooi vas gemaak het nie of dalk in geplug het nie...
Kar voel regtig baie pap teenoor wat hy voorheen was.
Swirl flaps is nogsteeds in so alles is nog soos hy voorheen was.

Ok so only realizing now one cannot edit the 1st post after the initial 60 min, i will do a quick recap. I wanted to tick these off as i go along in the first post, well that was the idea..lol
To do:
Passenger occupancy ABS light on - Hopefully getting fixed 26/10/2017
Clean and polish & wax - Still to be done
Service - Oil and filters including diesel filter - Hopefully in November
Swirl flap Blank off - Waiting on CNC custom made ones
Completed:
Radio - Fixed, antenna wasnt plugged in
Fit sound - Completed
CDV Delete - Deleted and drives way better without it.
Left rear door lock pin - Fixed, removed door panel and fixed jammed pin
To do:

Yeah im trying to fix all the small things quickly.
previously when i removed the intake, it felt like the car was down on power. When i removed the intake yesterday, i found that one of the rubber mounts fell off (Luckily not into the engine!!!) but it lodged it self between the intake port on the engine and the one stud for the intake. The metal part on the rubber mount got bent a little and i "Think" This cause a bit of a leak on this one port possibly not being flush onto the engine which could have caused the issue with power being down.
After i fitted the blanks and made sure that the rubbers are all in place, the car sounds quieter (possibly louder due to it leaking) and cars power seems to back up again.

it was lodged inbetween where the arrow points
Now i dont plan on removing the intake mani again anytime soon!

Update:
Did my first oil service on the bmw and must say this was easier dan expected. Not that doing an oil service is difficult, but i am amazed at how much quicker and simpler it was as well as way less messy than on my previous polo gti.
Bmw sounds alot softer than before, i have no idea what oil was used previously.
Wanted to change the crank case breather to the vortex style one but GW did not have stock or prices. Need to check if i have the old loo roll type or the newer one.
I noticed that the boost pipe close to the turbo at the bottom has some oil on it and looks like its not seated properly but its a mission to get to the pipe so will work on that later this month
