Replacing the atrocious sound in 2013 X3

Hi Guys,

Im on a mission!!!

Im looking for a Pioneer or Similar size speaker that can plug and play in the X3 2013 F25. More specifically the rear mids and the front mids. It will have to do for now as i am not taking out the amp that's mounted in the back. Thats a project for another day.

The sound in this car is extremely sh!t. And so in all other X3's with the NON HiFi sound installed.

Has anyone taken out the standard speakers? If so, please send me the specs and size spacing of the holes on the speaker and the actual speaker size. I think Pioneer does a similar mid, you just need to solder the plug on the + and - so that you can just plug the new speaker in on the cars current harness.

I think this is a long shot, but if i dont come right here ill be doing a full sound upgrade with the low end sub bass in the boot under the carpet (where the spare wheel would be)

This is not a "plug and Play" setup ...yes speakers are a direct fit, but wires have to be cut.

The oem mids are 3.5" kak speakers, Im sure you can get some 4" pioneer mids in the front with the aid of spacer ring/adapter ring...not to sure about the rears though:thumbs:

The only issue you may have using the oem setup...is getting a balanced sound from the aftermarket speakers...but will definitely be an improvement over the stock speakers
