Project Shift intercoolers for N54 and N55! - Intercoolers in stock!!!

In Response to the group buy thread, we have decide to do a group by on N54 and N55 intercolers!

Our coolers have the following benfits:

50% more flow over stock
3" Inlet and Outlets
Intake temps are dropped substantially
Bolt on kit, only slight trimming required.

The N55 intake pipes are slightly different to the N54, therefore the n55 price is slightly higher.



The coolers have now been fully assembled and are ready!!

What is minimal cutting?
And is it more cutting for the 135i than for the 335i?

literally a few cm's from the underside plastic.

Cutting is more or less the same on both models

Most inside bumper trimming to get the IC to fit is not noticable. It does not even affect anything when the stock cooler is back in. I cant foresee a major installation concern. If the trimming is well done, you will need a trained eye to see the difference.

Coolers are debatable when it comes to HP gains. At a maximum I wud think 8-10. Its not going to pull u backin ur seat after install.

Coolers allow for firstly cooling and secondly sustained boost. Cooler temps allow you to run better.

Any cooler upgrade will be better than stock. The flow rate will definately show a sugnificant gain compared to stock. For the price I think its well worth it.

Just food for thought. N54 that ran 11.2 I think had a big Tom intercooler which u can buy from eBay for a mere 150 dollars. Based on price you wud assume is terrible quality based on other coolers selling for 1000 dollars. Not saying this coller is bad.

The standard coolers on the X35 are very poor.
