Hi All,
As some of you know,
I put my E46 for sale but due to time wasters, I got tired of meeting interested buyers, going for test drives, etc. I decided to keep my car and park it off for some time while I get a cheaper daily.
Anyway, moving along...
I searched cars for more than a month and its shocking to see the prices some people ask for their cars. I spotted my car on the net and gave the dealer a call, I then found out that the car was in Cape Town :skit:
I decided to put it on hold due to it being so far and opted for other options, however, I always ended up viewing the same ad over and over. I thought about everything and decided to not compromise with this. I rang the dealer, submitted my documents and got on with it.
The dealer offered nation wide delivery , but it just didn't feel right signing for a car and only seeing it 3 days after completing the deal. I was tempted but too scared to go through such a risk. I ended up booking a flight to Cape Town this past weekend, simply for one reason, if i like the car, I sign for it and drive it back up to Joburg. :hammerhead:
I got to Cape Town on Saturday, the dealer offered to fetch me from the airport. When I got to the dealership, the car turned out to be an absolute Gem! I immediately signed, stopped for Fish & chips and hit the road. :=):
I did the trip in two days, arriving in JHB at 13:00pm on Sunday, but worth it when I look back now.
Anyway, little on the car.
Make : Volkswagen
Model : Citi Rox 1.4i
Year : 2009
Color : Tossa Blue Metallic
Mileage : 81 000km, with FSH.
Aircon spec.
The interior, engine bay & body is extremely clean and becoming very scare to find. I know this is not a BMW and I know the amount of VW haters on this forum, but I love both brands, the E46 was becoming to hectic to maintain and petrol was killing me with my daily travel. I needed a cheaper daily, what more better than a citi? :smilebounce:
Lastly, onto some pictures of the car :
