I am sure that many on this forum are Old Dads.

Found this movie very funny and refreshing from all the PC drivel we forced to put up with from Hollywood.

Give it a watch - especially if you are over 40...

Be warned - jokes are quite harsh 😂...

Agreed. It was definitely relatable to me. I went from being the young dad with my 3 daughters (my eldest was born when I was 21) to being the old dad (my son being born two months shy of my 44th birthday) and this definitely resonated with me.

Very funny, very true and worth a watch.

Well, I suppose the movie had its moments of humor... mainly when Burr graced the screen, but it felt like they were banking too heavily on Burr's brilliance to carry the whole movie. It's like they tried to squeeze his stand-up into a cinematic format, but the seams were showing. As a die-hard Burr aficionado, I was eagerly anticipating a laugh riot, but alas, it fell short faster than a heckler at one of his gigs. It was more of a chuckle-and-cringe affair. A swing and a miss, indeed. Oh well, back to binge-watching Burr's specials for the real laughs.
Regards Barry Ronge (if you know him, yes we are old hehe)

True. Think this will always be an issue Bill Burr fans will have with Bill Burr written movies. He shares his comedy in everything he does whether it’s on Conan, Monday Morning Podcast, Joe Rogan, etc. By the time he translates everything into a movie, it feels familiar because you have consumed it somewhere.

Still don’t pass anything he is on. Still sad he left Breaking Bad early and couldn’t do BCS.
