As a self professed introvert. That much humanity looks positively terrifying!

I really cant understand how thats fun for anyone...?

Some places in KZN are terrible this time of year although we can't generalise, I've been to South Broom golf course last December and 2 months back

Stunning beaches (Private) for the resort

ja theres nothing like the ocean..and there are many gems..also estates with private beaches..i don't do crowds but i love the ocean so i find ways to enjoy it without being part of a Wheres Wally scene.

Is not all doom and gloom! South Africa has many many gems. Let the masses all be crowded in one place and we can then enjoy the 100’s of kms of other untouched beautiful coast line. Not to mention some of the most amazing mountain passes. After spending 6 months in Eastern Europe, I very happy call South Africa home. You have to fight for paradise, no one said it would be easy.

I say this tongue in cheek.
I live in a “little” quite, village – that is becoming a suburb of the neighing town, damit.
For ten months of the year it is fairly quiet, peaceful, and we have the beaches etc., to ourselves
So the invasion is ok-ish, but what gets my goat , the lack of respect, for the beauty of the coast line, the mess and junk and damage, that is just left behind, and stupid stuff some of the “visitors” get up too.
No wonder half the village goes in-land that this time of year.
