My not so new toy

Hi All

Introducing Lizzy - my 2008 e90 335i m-sport (Steptronic)

Why Lizzy? Because when I'm behaving myself I call her by her more distinguished name: Elizabeth - but if I shift that lever over into DS and hit the downshift paddle to throw it into manual it brings out her naughty side

First 2 pics are when she was brand new and last 2 are about as recent as a few weeks ago...

IRQ15 with DMA and hardware acelleration would have made your car much faster.

Any mods? I'm interested in one particular mod.... the shift paddles....

I'm running the JB+ from BMS - have experimented with different settings (you can adjust it) and 50% seems to be the best from a driveability / enjoyment perspective...

As for the paddles, it's a REALLY easy job to switch them around. I have changed mine so that a left paddle squeeze = downshift rather than both paddles functioning the same - MUCH more intuitive this way...

Yup - want me a set of blacklines too. I'll definitely get hold of some soon. At the moment I'm concentrating on getting the diffuser ready and will continue to other parts from there: front diffusers, mirror covers etc... All in the pipeline...

I'm giving away my age with IRQ5 Chose it back in the day when the SoundBlaster first came out and it's just stuck since then...
