The e36 is going to last you forever. I recently purchased an e36 325i, Auto, one owner vehicle also. But my car has abt 190 000 odd km's and feels as fresh as my e90. Everything works 100% and the car has good power too.

I hope so. I do really enjoy it. The 318is with 235k felt solid too. All I did on it was replace all 4 shocks and mountings and it drove great and the motor too.

I don't plan on changing anything on the 325i. I like it looking as stock as possible. The only thing I may toy with at a later stage is removing the Cats as I really like the noise this motor makes.

I swear I have seen you around in the Pontiac!
So flipping familiar!

Possibly. I doubt there's to many black Trans Am's running around.

She looks a bit better in the pic as up close you can see the 30year old paint is not doing so good. None the less, she's my baby and I've loved every minute of owning her.

There's one like it standing in a garage in the West Rand. Been standing over a year:fencelook:

Please don't, leave it as it is :thumb: oh & welcome to the forum :)

Yeah.....no chance I'm messing with this. It's just to neat to be tampered with. I toyed with the idea of putting some motorsport wheels on it....but this car deserves to be left alone. This is what a 1994 BMW 325i Auto looks like from the factory. I've even got the original Tape Deck "Bavaria" radio for it at home. That's the only thing I had to change.

Thanks! Yeah...my Lumina...man I miss that car. The noise it made was unbelievable....but I was bound to get into trouble with it!
The saving on fuel makes it all ok though :)

One day I will own another one.

The 325i is one of my favourite cars I've owned though. Not much about it I dislike. One big gripe I've got with it though is the cruise control. Man, I'm not sure if it's just mine but if I set it at 120km any slight uphill it just slows down. It's almost as if the car is scared to change down a gear and maintain the speed. It will drop right down to like 90km. Very frustrating.

Maybe the cable is not adjusted properly or the rubber has fallen apart causing the throttle to not open up more. If not that then look into changing the servo.

Alternatively you can help it along by pushing the accelerator as it doesn't disengage cruise control, take your foot off the gas and it will go back down to what it was set at. Only brake and clutch pedals have switches to disengage cruise control.

Lumina is nice. But I'm sure you've noticed that everything is just different with BMW. I can't believe it took me so long to step to the dark side. :)
