Hi guys,
Finally got the rims fitted, left me know what you think.
Changed from 17" run-flats to 18" normal tyres and i have to say the ride is much better

Will get the tyres cleaned up and made super clean for more pics.

Have the centre caps specially made up to looking forward to that
Also thanks for all the feedback regarding tyres sizes guys.

Hi Speirie,
These are 18" CSL reps from Minty's in Randburg. They did not have a model at the time of purchase because it had just come in. They are staggered 8.5j and 9.5j. Also no changes nneded to be made, fitted straight on. will post more pics tomorrow of the centre caps that were specially made:thumb:

Hey Speirie,
will be taking some well deserved pics at the meet and greet on Sunday.
Car has just had a polish and will only be taken out of the garage on Sunday morning to put on a show

Also heard that same thing about Hankooks, but got a great deal on a tyre that i heard was up and coming. Its called WANLI. Was 2 minds when i first heard the name. Did some research and decided to try them out. Have to say, the handling in dry is good but was quite supprised with the grip in extreme wet. The V-thread worked like a dream. I have 225/40/18 in front and 255/35/18 at the rear

Have some Carbon Fibre splitters and M3 style boot spoiler coming from the States for Christmas, so cant wait for that mod

Will post pics on Sunday, promise

Yeah, can you give us a close-up of the centre caps? Carbon splitters will look the business on the front!

Looks good, im def gona change my wheels when the time comes
is that alpina badge centre caps?

Not Alpina caps, custom caps with a small BMW roundal surrounded by the original design motorsport colours before the current ///M design. This was explained to me by Jenich at the Sunday meetup. Sure he will be on and better explain the design and post a pic or 2.

Hi guys,
you quite right thereWyKiD, so you were paying attention.
It is the motorsport roundal from the 70's and 80's era, just got photoshop to enrich the colours to freshen them up. Will take a close-up in the morning and post

Menno, cant want for those CF splitters and boot spoiler to come

Did you get a spare wheel now that you don't have the runflats? If so, where and for how much?
