How is the difference with the Excede software? We thinking of loading software on the E46 M Cabrio but would like to find out how much of a gain the software really gives?

i bought the car with the software and decat.

Sherwin from excede tuned the car.
The guy does magic on the M.

I have driven and had a few runs with a few stock e46 M and you can not compare.
Excede is no#1 in S.A

Did you ever dyno your car? I am just curious to know how much power it makes so I can make sense of somwthing that has me puzzled.

I was in Durban recently and I saw a White E46 M3 make over 250kw at the rear wheels. It had a Chip Logic sticker on it and it sounded demonic. Looked quite nice as well...very clean like yours. I also have a friend that has an E46 M3 with similar mods to yours (also bought it with the mods) and he can only manage about 195 on the wheels. He told me that this white M3 has made about 256kw on other dynos in and around Durban which would make it around 345hp at the wheels. My friends car is around 260hp at the wheels. That is a whopping 85hp up on my friends car.

Still I mean if there were other modification on that car, it couldnt possibly be 85hp more than my friends car. My understanding is that if your car makes similar power to my friends car, then that M3 in Durban is definitely on Steriods...lol.
