So i needed a run around car, looked for quite a while.
Bought a golf 1 and it dint work out, not a nice car to use on the high way.
Was looking for a jetta or something but i managed to come across a 318i E30 which i could not pass.
Its a 1989 model, Car was kept quiet nice on the inside. Outside was neglected.
Car was never polished or even washed for a long time.
So first i got the paint work in ok condition. Treated it to some Meguires love.
Actually made a day and night difference.
Last week i put in a new steering rack, ball joints, engine mounts.
Last night i sat and did the radiator and fixed some leaking pipes.
Still need to do the rear bushes. there’s 6 of them that are bad.
Respray the rear, the guy sprayed it black for some reason.
Colour code the bumpers
Fit a rear boot spoiler, Alpina front lip, New fogs (car doesnt have any)
Clear fender and bumper markers.
A nice looking wheel
Took the car as a project, Used it from Centurion to joburg this morning and it went nice. very light on fuel.

Thanks to the guys from the bmwfanatics BBM group that helped me source most of the parts.
