Shot dude I am glad you got sorted , I have to say it really looks good, really cleans up the front end. Just a pity that the numberplate still has to go on :(

Stuck mine on already, would love to have kept the front without a numberplate, but still looks a heck of a lot better than the numberplate holder

Thanks bud...

Yeah, had the numberplate off for a whole afternoon, my luck a copper pulls me on the N3 on my way home yesterday afternoon, stuck it back on there and then to avoid any hassles again. Got home and removed it again though, to put my velcro. Can you believe the cop, he had a roll of double sided tape ready for me...

Thanks bud... Yeah, major pity about the plates.

The splitters are at home, sprayed and ready to be fitted, but my panel beater just does not have time now to do the rest of my bits so i will wait and fit all at once. Will just make my update a whole lot better. Trying to get it done before the photoshoot planned for the 2nd.

Nice Bru. I am a BMW woman through and through and have been exposed to BMW's since I was 5years old! I am so passionate about them, I am getting a tattoo of the BMW emblem! :pimp:

I must however agree, the Golfies are hardy little bastards! I have had my fair share of them and my favourite was a little nippy 1995 CTi - gun metal 1.8. Slapped a 288 cam in her ass and she was a pleasure. :excited: That car was driven hard everyday and up until the day she was sold (5 years later), she asked nothing more than her regular service!!

LOL !!!

post them pics of ur tatoo :roflol:

Awesome car...but those mags.. :yuck:

I actually cut the std number plate holder so I keep the top holes to fit the plate with push clips. The trim Arbee has doesn't have any holes so he needs to stick the plate onto the paintwork of the bumper, this was a no-no for me.

I did the same to the touring.

Yep, i didnt want to cut anything. So, i still have the number plate holder if i need to put it back on the car.

Oh and Black Velcro FTW...

There is no option for silver velcro. I have heard of cops giving drivers with velcro where the plate is supposed to be a very hard time and removing the licence disc as it is supposedly defeating the ends of justice or something, Im sure Coisman can elaborate.

I have had velcro on all my cars ever since i can remember. I suppose they will give one a hard time if the plate is not on the car. Mines are always on, unless im taking pics and thats generally when im at a venue or at home. So, not real problem for me.
