Congrats on the new acquisition Mo, looks awesome!

Keen to hear your thoughts on NA vs FI once you've had a chance to settle in.. Love the F82 look, just wish they kept the V8 and slapped on the turbo/s.

Congrats Mo, she is a stunner! Especially in White, it really brings out the PHATness of the M4 body and gives you the appreciation of that boady shape.

Wish you many happy and safe kms bud!

When you told me you’ve bought the M4 over a 1M I thought it was a great choice. It just makes sense.

Great buy and Congratulations!

Also consider the 763Ms or 513Ms (18s and will need lowering and spacing to complete the look)
Thank Avi
really did want a 1M, but feel I got more car for far less money with the M4.

yeah the smaller wheels with chunky tires could also look cool, but really do want the 666ms , will see if I find anything else I might fancy, no rush right now.

Yeah they 2 very different motors from different eras bro.

The NA S54 even though slow compared to modern standards is pretty capable, the induction noise especially after I fitted the eventuri intake was eargasmic and addictive, throttle response was super responsive , the hydraulic steering made it precise and inspired confidence when driving spiritedly , but also you really felt the car was a handful at times, especially in traffic , it felt very analog and sometimes laborious . You needed to work with it to get rewarded. I did enjoy it while it lasted.

The M4 mated to the dct is effortless and comfortable ,has lots of creature comforts and if you didnt know better it feels very luxury like, I dont particularly like the lag in normal driving modes between 2500-3000rpm , the sound of the S55 is nice but not S54 nice.

Ive sat in but still haven't driven the V8 M3, that would be the natural step up from the S54, and I would love to own one one day, for now im happy to skip a generation.

Thanks Bro

first one is sold, second one is black so not for me
Black on the white would look cool!

Congrats on the new car.

Having also left a Z4M it's hard to describe but pretty much everything feels less raw than a Z4M. Partly that's down to the car being somewhat flawed, it simply cannot grip as hard as most modern cars do and at the limit it has a twitchiness that modern safety systems have just completely coded out.

Keen to see what mods you have planned for this thing!

Agreed the Z4M is a very visceral driving experience, I think its flaws, one being a lack of refinement and another its marmite looks also give it a certain character that cant be matched to anything else in its price category. its a "sports car" , the M4 although Faster and better dynamically feels more GT like. one will stay in the past and the other has a glimpse of the future.

right now im thoroughly enjoying it for what it is , and apart from cosmetic/aesthetic mods I don't plan on any mechanical/dynamic mods.
will see in the future IA.
