So rims today?

Cool. Will take you. Just take your wallet.

:tiptoe:

Lets go...

There was a dyno day at HM Auto, thougth it will be perfect to see what the car makes stock. So as we headed our way to the meet up one of my Coil packs went - car misfired.

Drove all the way to the Dyno and someone had a new set of R8 Coil packs, bought and fitted right there and went home :coolShake:

Now I have the Red Coil Packs in and drive back home was just super smooth

Got new rubbers for my engine cover as well

Over the weekend I managed to change a few things.

Changed my Fuel Filter the date on the old one was 2007 :skit: so I have the new 6.6Bar one in :praise:

Also changed my Pollen Filter, old Filter had a date on of 2010 :thumbdo:

nice man! .. same motor as my gti .. they definitely no slouch when tuned! ..
as for the fuel filter .. audi believe its a " lifetime " filter .. changed the one on our ex a3 and it was like a muddy compound in the filter after 90k km ...

nice job on the tails! ..

so .. are the new wheels on yet? ........ :tiptoe:

Chef hasn't taken me yet :fencelook:

Cant see why they would think its a "lifetime" filter, would have liked to open my old filter...

Have to say, I have a soft spot for Audi's.. Lovely buy and when modded, they go like a bat out of hell :clapper:

On the air freshner... I prefer these little trees

their logic on when certain parts need be changed is very alarming .. 180k km on cambelt .. but these snap around 120k km ..
also .. just keep a monitor on your cam follower .. besides the cambelt, which should be done around 100k km .. the follower is the other weak point of this motor ..

So which one do you like most - the Audi or 320d?

:fencelook:

320d is an amazing car, but i prefer the Audi more (interior Quality - not as "plastic" as the bmw) Ride quality is a bit smoother one thing I miss is the Auto box

Seems like all the dealers are skipping some of the parts if I can say it like that, Yes I would still want to change the Cam follower - the part only costs R450 - Cambelt has been done when i bought the car so that's done at least
