Just a quick question, how are those audi's out of motorplan?
Expensive to repair or not so much?
Services etc?

Not too sure as yet :fencelook:

Havnt heard of them giving big problems like injectors and turbos etc...

These motors and chassis are identical to the G5, the common issues are PCV, Cam follower and DV.....all this can be bought at the agents as they are cheap enough, one could get all 3 for about 2k or less.

But my dad has a A4 2.0Tdi and service parts from Goldwagen, good brand parts come to about R900

But im guessing service parts wont be to much

PCV - Valve does not have to be changed unless it breaks, replaced mine in 2011 and haven't changed since

DV - Also does not have to be replaced, it is suggested to put a stronger one that was released which the car did not come with out the factory. 2006 Model requires it if it has not being changed already. The stronger one holds boost much better with software

Cam Follower - it is advised to change every 15,000kms if the car is stock, its about R400, if the car has software, every 10,000kms, and if you have the high pressure fuel pump, every 5,000kms

I advise changing the coil packs to the R8 coil packs, i just recently changed mine and made a huge difference, its about R1,700.00 a set and about R2,000.00 with the plugs

Services are not bad out of plan, I buy the parts and have a VW mech that works on the car. Only costly service is when cam-belt service and if its a DSG. Goldwagen sells the cam-belt kit which includes the water pump for about R3,000.00. DSG oil is R250.00 lt and 8 lts are required for the oil change.
