Hey all,
So I'm off to JHB tomorrow to hopefully purchase an 2019 M5 comp for what seems like a steal.
I wanted to extend the plan by another 2 years (max 7) before purchase, however the seller called me an hour ago and told me we can't extend yet as it's not close to the expiry which is next year September 2024.
If I extend by mileage I'm told I can do that at any point. I prefer to extend by time to the max 7 years as there is no way I'll do more than 20k kms in the 2 next years.
I'm just fact checking here as I'm feeling a little nervous taking the car before I confirm the facts about the extension.
Is this true that time extensions can only be done close to expiry?
