This is great. Are you running same width all the way around?Found this Set of (New) OEM 20" Rims with General Grabbers at a steal of a Deal on Facebook, much softer than the Runflats previously on. Swallows bumps and Potholes Much better.

no ways man is this really your bakkie?! nice ...this looks like its shot at TygervalleyMy Cortina Bakkie.... restoration project completed.
Yup. Been 9months in the making. Could not be happier with the result. It's going through a shake down period with Johan to iron out any little glitches and once he's happy I'll come up to Joburg and drive it back to the Midlands. May very well become my local dailyno ways man is this really your bakkie?! nice ...this looks like its shot at Tygervalley

I may end up having the PCD changed either on the wheels or by changing the OEM hubs to 5 / 120. This will eliminate the spacers and get the wheels under the fender / bak properly. Currently they are just proud of the bodywork and I'm not 100% sure I like that look. With hindsight, had I chosen the rims earlier we would have test fitted and before we went to paint, we could have "might moused" the fenders / bak very subtly to achieve a squat stance but with the wheels under the bodywork.... maybe in the future....great stuff man....those wheels work perfectly
@Yulz9081 kindly take note of the above suggestionBased on my Dragy performance report, here’s the key info:
However, I lifted off before the end as I ran out of road, and you can see my speed dropped (187.77 km/h at the 1/4 mile is way too low for a 10.6s car).
- I hit 100 km/h in 3.01s.
- I did 60ft in 1.68s.
- My 1/8 mile was 6.84s @ 169.73 km/h.
- My 1000ft was 8.85s @ 195.95 km/h.
- I crossed the 1/4 mile in 10.66s @ 187.77 km/h.
Had I not lifted off my estimation:
Given my 1000ft speed of 195.95 km/h, I was still accelerating hard. Assuming I held throttle:
There’s so much potential in this platform it’s insane.View attachment 29954
- 1/4 mile ET: 10.40s - 10.45s
