Did a trip up to Jhb this past weekend. Car went great. I feel like it's made for the open road and long distance love it.

Consumption from Durban to Jhb:

Then coming back down it was even lighter(naturally):

2 people in the car with a fully loaded boot, and aircon on the entire way. Average speed was between 130/140.

Some random pics at the biltong shop coming back :

And no message? Too worried I'll take your rims, or too scared for gaps?
Car looks great, consumption is so so good! Proper highway cruiser. Made for it!

more the rims. I know I'll get gapped so not worried about that.

But no, wasn't a long trip. Only got there Friday afternoon, and had plans Saturday and Sunday. Then drove back Monday morning. So no time essentially

now you know why it would be so difficult for me to part with this car

Any feedback on the drivability in eco on the open road? I usually find eco pro a pain in the rear. Like it holds the car back. Used it when I initially bought the car and now either use comfort or sport. Granted my car is no where near the power league of your car.
Ive just recently bought a 330d. Ive been experiencing the same issue on eco pro. it really holds the car back and is so sluggish. I thought something was wrong with my car. Comfort mode is soooo much better - its hauls when you want to plant!!!

Update:
No new mods or anything done just been doing normal maintenance and preventative maintenance wherever necessary.

Had the following done over the past few months:
- New control arms
- Diff oil change
- Swirl flap delete
- Handbrake circlip replacement
- Major service (oil, filters, brake fluid flush)

The car has been flawless. Still enjoying it thoroughly.

Just hit 125k km this past weekend. No intention of selling anytime soon

Nothing much to report on. Car went for an oil change this week. Oil changes are done every +-8000km. Purchased a BMW Oil plan last year September, so it was nice to 'not pay' for this service

Only problem is that previous dealerships my car went to haven't been capturing the services onto the iDrive. Used a different dealer this time. So now on the iDrive it looks like there's a gap in service history but luckily I still have a file with every single invoice for proof of service history.
