Went up to Jhb this past weekend. First long trip with the car. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Didn't really even feel the trip, was super comfortable on long distance. 30d torque was also just pulling the car everywhere with ease

Going up to Jhb we were driving in a bit of a 'spirited' manner. Average consumption was 6.0l/100km. This was with 3 people in the car and a very full boot

Coming back down we took it a bit easy. Speed was ranging between 120-140. Same amount of people, same load in the boot, consumption was at 5.2l/100km Aircon was also on full blast the entire trip.

Did you drive from JHB to DBN in Eco Pro?

Yes I did.

Any feedback on the drivability in eco on the open road? I usually find eco pro a pain in the rear. Like it holds the car back. Used it when I initially bought the car and now either use comfort or sport. Granted my car is no where near the power league of your car.

Drivability on a long trip if you're driving normal speeds is fine. It does hold the car back, but not to a point where I struggled anywhere. It worked nicely on a long trip for me, I didn't mind it.

I have to do a trip to Cape Town soon. Will just be me and my dog. will be towing a loaded trailer though. I usually do 130-140 max when towing. Think I will be better off in comfort given the load.

I agree. Comfort may be better with your load.

I had 2 other people in the car with me and a very full boot. But I wasn't pulling a trailer.

The exhaust sounds great @Julian_30d - I feel its exactly what you needed? More noise, but still refined for your long weekend trips.
Well done for doing it (FINALLY).
This car is lovely. Pity about the faulty owner ekse.

Thanks Kyle yes definitely exactly what I needed. Fell in love with the car all over again.

Peer pressure strikes again(it's for my own good though).

I was surprised that you were being so nice. Then I saw the last line of your comment cake.

Been a long time since I posted here. No major updates. Mainly been filling fuel, servicing the car and enjoying it everytime I drive it

Got some interior bits from CT Carbon. Very happy with the quality and the look of them. Great service from Dylan as well.
