Internal water

Hi guys. Checked my car out to get ready for the car wash tomorrow and found that my passenger side floor is wet. Don't know why. Can it be a blocked Aircon pipe because I don't see water dripping underneath the car while the Aircon is on. I also don't know if it's because Of the heavy rains we been having. Any ideas would be gladly appreciated.

Thanks

When it's completely dry get someone to wet it and you can determine if it's from rain

Check your vapour barriers inside your doors, if it's not properly sealed it sometimes lets water in. It's those foam sheets .

Yes , you have to take off the door panel , Has anyone ever worked on your doors before? Its possible that they haven't refitted the seal on properly .

But do as Donovan2412 has said as well , get the car completely dry and then wet it to determine where the water is actually coming from before taking off the door cards.

I have no idea. I just recently got the car. So it can be possible that someone did work on the doors and did not fit everything back. I however did lift up the passenger mat to see if I can see anything but nope nothing. Checked the sun roof drains and they working. Had the Aircon running to see if it's dripping inside but also nothing. Maybe I didn't run it long enough.

hz it ... old post....
its possibly the gromet on ur passenger side fire wall.. theres a cover that collects lots of debris and then leaks into the car, right to the rear passenger.
