discussion Help needed - Any recommendations on excellent tow truck services

Hi all

Needed some help with any contact you may have of an excellent tow truck operator who has experience on loading on a very low car.

My Focus RS picked up a cutting off issue and I’m too afraid to drive it from Northcliff to the East Rand with the fear of getting stuck on the side of the road.

the RS sits really low and looks epic after a nose respray by ford so I really do not want to damage the bumper

I’m hoping someone has a contact of a tow truck flat bed that has gadgets or ramps or something that can get the rs there on with out damaging the car

The last time my M5 got loaded the front bumper got cracked

Did take the car into ford close by. Short story the agents are not the experts at working on these hence the need for a flat bed

As an alternative.
Have you maybe tried a trailer. There are a few which tilt with hydraulic assistance and have ramps .

I have had good experience with the AA.
If you are not a member, they do offer towing services on a pay as you go basis (last time I checked).

Came right this morning. Excellent service and they got the car on and off without even touching the bumper anywhere. I was impressed considering that the car does sit low

I think you mean #FordLife

A friend has a Fiesta ST and it seems even those are not the most reliable. He is part of one of the FiST SA groups on Facebooks and seems a few members complain about various issues popping up all the time.

Got contact details of a gentlemen that owns a towing company. They do tow lots of super cars around JHB. He sent through his guy who was exceptional. We got my car on without not touching the bumper at all. Same when we got it off.

I was highly impressed with them.
