I just LOVE how rough these old engines were. Organic is the probably the right word.

I hate that these engines are in the past.

I hate that these engines are in the past.

I often wonder how long these engines could last in terms of reliability, seeing as it is basically two S50's stuck together (with some glue :) ) I wonder if the reliability of that motor translates to reliability for the S70/2.

The car as a whole really is the epitome of the driver's car, light (slightly heavier that a MX5), NA, manual, and not power assistance on either the steering or the brakes.

I always hoped to see this motor or a derivative of it make it way to a M5....but alas :(

It's going to take ALOT to knock it off the top of my all time favourite war machines!

The P1 looks like it might be the one but I still feel the F1 will hold its own for generations to come..

Well they nearly did that with the M version of the 8 series.
