Never finished the wiring, swapped the std ones back until I get the wiring sorted.

Last weekend Nicwes dropped by for a headlight repair on his E46 320i and while doing so we traded my wood trim interior set for his brushed aluminium trim set. As his interior is tan, the alu trim really did look out of place so the installation of the wood trim really did suit the tan interior. I have always liked the brushed aluminium trim on an all black interior, had the same in my former 330i sedan, now very happy to have it in my 330i touring.

Had it for sometime sitting in the cupboard. Bought it off a fanatic after the button backlighting and cd player stopped working. My honest opinion is its a cheap product at a premium price. The D99 was better but still doesn't come close in quality to Alpine/kenwood/Pioneer ect headunits. I will be buying a quality radio at a later stage as this D95 is the weak point in my MB Quart sound install.

I did a oem nav install into a customer's e46 a few years back. Was a PITA of note. Few months later he was back to have it changed out for an aftermarket unit.
The oem units lack connectivity, aftermarket units have USB, Bluetooth, aux ect so you put all your music on a stick drive in the glove box and you sorted.

I know all that, yet I also like the old school charm of staying oem. Besides, there is no better music than an M54 on song.

The Dynavin N6 seems to be a very polished product, and would be my choice for an aftermarket OEM style retrofit.

Well, it's 3 generations old now (including E60), so its hardly new.
